AlguienTieneQueMorir
Is a conceptual installation that poses a simple yet uncommon question: what would your last dinner be before dying? An anthropological exploration of our relationship with food and death, brought together at a single table, where attendees are not spectators but active participants in the unfolding of the piece. Four categories emerged from the study of hundreds of last-meal requests found in prison archives: pleasure, remembrance, absurdity, and unfulfilled dreams. Each course of the evening was accompanied by a narrative built around the condemned individual who would have requested that dish. In the final moment of ALGUIEN TIENE QUE MORIR, one attendee was sentenced and, upon request, was served their last meal.
